Built By People Who Have Lived It.
Stump’d wasn’t created in a classroom.

It was built from years of playing, coaching and working with young people under pressure.
We’ve seen what talent looks like.
We’ve seen what pressure does.
We’ve seen how easily confidence can dip without the right support.

Stump’d exists to give young players the tools many of us had to learn the hard way.
Rob Osman.
Founder & Director | Mental Performance Lead
Rob brings over 30 years of cricket playing experience, alongside extensive coaching across multiple sports.

As well as performance sport, Rob has delivered mental health workshops and mentoring support, particularly focused on building emotional strength and resilience in high-pressure environments.

His work combines performance standards with human understanding, helping young players develop:

-
Emotional regulation
-
Accountability
-
Confidence built on behaviour
-
Consistency under pressure

Stump’d brings those principles into cricket environments in a practical, repeatable way.

Within Stump’d, Rob ensures the framework remains:
-
Structured and progressive across age groups
-
Rooted in emotional regulation and response
-
Clear, practical and repeatable under pressure
-
Relevant to real performance environments
-
Built on behavioural standards rather than vague motivation

His approach blends performance understanding with human awareness.

No theory for theory’s sake.
No empty inspiration.

Clear tools. Clear language. Clear application.

-
Performance expectations
-
Confidence under scrutiny
Through his coaching and social platforms, including his presence as “The Kiwi Cricketer,” Jack has built a strong following of young cricketers who value practical advice grounded in real experience.

Within Stump’d, Jack ensures the framework remains:

-
Relevant to today’s competitive game
-
Embedded in real cricket environments
-
Practical rather than theoretical
-
Connected to the realities young players face now

Together, Rob and Jack combine lived experience, structured mentoring and modern performance insight to create a pathway that strengthens both the individual and the environment around them.

Why We Built Stump'd.
We believe:

-
Mental strength should be taught, not assumed
-
Emotional regulation is trainable
-
Shared language changes environments
-
Young players deserve practical tools, not vague advice

The aim is simple:

Build resilient players who understand their response under pressure.
On the pitch.
In school.
In life.
Why this matters.
Teenagers today are under more pressure than ever — academically, socially & in sport.

At Stump’d, we believe young people shouldn’t have to choose between performing well & feeling okay.

Our aim is simple: To help young people stay in sport, enjoy it, & develop the mental tools they’ll need for whatever comes next.
